China Shale Block Sales to Quicken, Daily Cites Gov’t Researcher

     Aug. 31 (Bloomberg) -- China will increase the number of
shale blocks it puts up for auction with more companies
participating in the bidding, China Daily cited Pan Jiping, a
researcher at the Ministry of Land and Resources, as saying.
     The Asian nation may hold a second and third auction by the
end of the year as it seeks to accelerate to pace of
exploration, Pan said, according to the newspaper.
